Terrific Two’s on My Own!

Let’s Do It

This class is for our dancer’s age 24 months-age 3 who are ready to dance on their own. The program is much like our preschool program adapted to the gross motor skills of a younger child. Our main goal is to teach your young dancer to love dance!! This class will perform a song and dance in the end of year recital. This 30-minute class meets once weekly.  

Saturday’s 9:00-9:30 –  Krystie Steele

Attire: Girls – leotard & tights (any color, attached skirts are ok, no tutu’s please), pink ballet shoes. ​

Boys – jazz pants & T-shirt, black ballet shoes

Fees: Registration Fee: $30.00 Monthly Tuition (10 months): 1/2 hour class $46.00 Costume payment (due November 1st) – $85* (includes recital tights) *$75 early discount price if paid before November 1st

Preschool 1 & 2 

On Your Feet

Our pre-school classes introduce the new and exciting world of movement to our youngest students.

The program is designed to develop coordination, motor skills, body awareness, rhythm and a love of music and dance.

It is a combination class, offering pre-ballet, tumbling and tap with age-appropriate music and movement with a fun presentation. Teachers encourage listening skills, social interaction and fun, fun, fun!  

Days/Times:

Tuesdays-4:00-4:45 (ages 3-5) with Anne-Marie D'Errico

Saturday - 9:30am -10:15am Pre-School 1 (ages 3 -4) with Krystie Steele

Saturday- 10:15am-11:00am Pre-School 2 (ages 4-5) with Krystie Steele

Saturday-11:00am-11:45am Pre-School 3 (ages 3-5) with Natalie Phelps

       

These 45-minute classes meet once weekly.

Attire: Girls – leotard & tights (any color, attached skirts are ok, no tutu’s please), pink ballet shoes, tan tap shoes.

Boys – jazz pants & T-shirt, black ballet shoes

Fees: Registration: $30.00 Monthly Tuition (10 months): ¾ hour class $54.00

Costume payment (due November 1st) – $85* (includes recital tights)

KinderDance-Kindergarten

On Your Feet

For students entering Kindergarten, this one-hour class develops basic ballet vocabulary (center floor), more challenging tumbling skills, and coordination and musicality through tap. At this age, children are eager to learn and love to move. Our faculty will nurture that love, guiding them through new dance vocabulary and an exploration of where movement can lead them!

 

Days/Times:

Tuesday - 5:15-6:15 with Lisanne D'Errico

Wednesday – 4:15pm-5:15pm with Anne-Marie D’Errico 

Saturday – 10:00 am-11:00am with Natalie Phelps

 

These 1-hour classes meet once weekly.

 

Attire: Girls – leotard & tights (any color, attached skirts are ok, no tutu’s please), pink ballet slippers, tan tap shoes.

            Boys – jazz pants & T-shirt, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes.

1st Grade Classes

Get Up & Move

This hour and a half class is movement packed for an energetic and curious age!  Offering fundamentals in ballet, tumbling, an introduction to jazz and tap, these dancers are moving in more challenging and developmentally appropriate ways. Ballet vocabulary and technique is increased and more challenging tumbling skills are taught. Age appropriate, contemporary music and movement is introduced in the jazz portion of this class. Rhythm, coordination and musicality, as well as increased vocabulary, are the goals in tap.

 

Days/Times:

Thursday - 4:15-5:45 with - AnneMarie D'Errico

Attire: Girls – leotard & tights (any color, attached skirts are ok, no tutu’s please), pink ballet slippers, tan tap shoes.

            Boys – jazz pants & T-shirt, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes.

Fees: Registration: $30. Monthly Tuition (10 months): 1-1/2 hour class $79.00 For Superstars.

Primary Level Ages 7-9
On Your Feet!

As children develop emotionally and their love of dance grows, class times increase in order to accommodate increasing vocabulary and the degree of difficulty. Our faculty helps dancers to develop self-motivation, self-confidence and a determination to succeed while sharing their knowledge and love of dance. To be a truly well-rounded dancer, a class in each subject offered should be considered by everyone. Ballet is the basis for all dance forms. Promoting proper alignment, posture, muscle control, building core strength, leg and foot strength, developing grace and body esthetics and balance.   Ballet focuses on laying the groundwork for technique in all styles of dance. It is the most important dance subject. Tap develops coordination and musicality Jazz uses contemporary music and movement to keep dancers moving and smiling. Fun filled and energetic! Acrobatics increases flexibility and strength while learning to tumble, flip and fly!  Attentive faculty and small class sizes ensure that the children receive a quality education.

Attire: Girls: Ballet: Leotard and tights, pink ballet leather ballet slipper Tap: Leotard and tights recommended, but tight-fitting pants, shorts, t-shirts are fine. Tan tap shoes. Jazz: Leotard and tights recommended, but tight-fitting pants, shorts, t-shirts are fine, bare feet and/or jazz shoes. Acrobatics: Comfortable clothing and bare feet. Boys: jazz pants & T-shirt, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes.

Junior/Senior Level Ages 10 and up

On Your Feet

Our intermediate classes stimulate the mind and body with more challenging and advanced technique and choreography advanced and the opportunity to explore a passion for dance is the foundation of these classes. The classes provide more discipline and an elevated level of instruction. Vocabulary is expanded and dancers continue to work on increasing flexibility, strength and control. The atmosphere is still fun promoting fitness and inspires confidence and social skills. Our faculty motivates each dancer to grow and reach. Under the instruction of attentive faculty, students can explore their creativity through the art of dance. Personal achievement is emphasized in a supportive environment. Dancers work on strengthening and furthering fundamental skills while being challenged to develop to their fullest potential Ballet focuses on continued development of ballet technique lengthening and straightening all parts of the feet, legs and upper body. Jazz continues the use of contemporary music and movement to keep dancers moving and smiling. Fun filled and energetic! Tap Progressing skills is the focus of this level. More intricate steps and patterns are introduced and refined.  Acro increases flexibility and strength while learning to tumble, flip and fly! Contemporary This popular genre of dance incorporates elements from many styles of dance. It tends to utilize both the legwork from ballet and the stress on torso from modern dance. Ballet is recommended.

Attire: Girls: Ballet: Leotard and tights, pink ballet leather ballet slipper (split sole are best) Tap: Leotard and tights recommended, but tight-fitting pants, shorts, t-shirts are fine. Black tap shoes. Jazz: Leotard and tights recommended, but tight-fitting pants, shorts, t-shirts are fine, bare feet and/or jazz shoes.  Acrobatics: Comfortable clothing and bare feet. Boys: jazz pants & T-shirt, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes.
