Tuition/Costs

Registration
A $25.00 registration fee is required along with the registration form to reserve the
student’s place in class. A registration is not secure until we have received the registration
fee and first month’s tuition.

Class Payments
Tuition is based on an annual fee (approximately 30 weeks) and is budgeted into 9 equal
monthly payments, due on the 15th of each month. Late tuition payments will result in a
$10 late fee for each missed month. Fees are not deductible due to missed classes
for any reason. (Please see Missed Lessons) Tuition that is two months in arrears will result
in the termination of classes.

Family Plan
(Applies to family members living in the same household)
First Child: Full Fee
Each Additional Child: 15% monthly discount
Maximum Family Tuition for 2 children: $475, 3 or more children please contact
business office.

If the studio receives a “returned check”, the payee is required to pay a $25.00 service charge
which will be applied to your account and the check must be replaced with cash or money order.

Recital Costumes (Costume prices include recital tights)

PLEASE NOTE: If custom-made costumes are required, you will be charged accordingly.
This applies to ALL team students.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER DECEMBER 15TH
Keep in mind that all payments must be received no later than December 15th.
Costumes are ordered in December and we will only order costumes that are paid in full

School Policy

Attendance
An effort must be made to attend every class. All students should arrive fifteen minutes
before class time. There are no refunds for missed classes. PLEASE CALL IF YOU ARE
GOING TO MISS CLASS. Please pick up your child at the end of their class.

Dress Code/Attire
Girls - attire is a leotard and tights. Body fitting warm-up clothes may be worn at the
teacher’s discretion. Tights should be worn year-round by all students.

Boys - black jazz pants and fitted t-shirt.

Competition Team Classes - must wear appropriate tights and leotard for all subjects.
Hair should be tied back away from the face for all classes.

Missed Lessons
Students may take up to five “make-up” lessons IN ADVANCE to offset any missed lessons
or snow-days. Lessons may be made-up in any class of the same level. Students must
check in at the desk prior to a “make-up” class. All “make-up” lessons must be taken
before February 1st.

Snow Cancellations
In the event of inclement weather please check the website www.dianekelleydance.com
and/or call the studio at 508-835-2678. There will be a message on the website and answering machine. We do not always cancel when school does so please be sure to check.

News and Information
In an effort to keep you informed, a monthly newsletter will be emailed to your main
account and posted on the bulletin board at the studio and on the website. Hard copies will
also be available in the office as well.

Observation Policy
Observation week is during the first lesson of each month. Studios A, B and C can be
observed through the parents viewing windows. If you come into Studio D, PLEASE refrain
for talking or making any comments during your child's lesson. Except for Observation
Week, parents and non-participating children are not allowed in the studio during class times.
There is no communication allowed between student and parents during class. This can cause distraction amongst the entire class and undermines the authority of the instructor. Your quiet observation from the viewing areas is always very much appreciated. In the event you child
has trouble going into the class, is injured, or needs assistance with the bathroom, you may
come into the studio at that time.

2009-2010 Holiday Schedule
We do not close for Monday holidays, except for Labor Day and Memorial Day.
