Anne-Marie D’Errico has been a treasured member of our team for over seventeen years! She is the most requested member of our faculty. Anne Marie studied dance at UMASS-Amherst where she also studied Psychology. Ms. D’Errico received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Worcester State College with a Minor in Physical Education. Throughout her college years, she continued to study with many nationally recognized teachers, including Frank Hatchett, Luigi and Gus Giordano. She currently is employed by the Shrewsbury Public School system where she works with children with special needs. Anne-Marie continues to delight both students and parents with her infectious energy and fun-filled classes!

Sheri Moore-Nikitas has been a valuable member of our faculty (ballet, pointe, jazz) for the past fifteen years. She has served as ballet mistress and as one of our talented staff of choreographers. Ms. Nikitas is a member of the Cecchetti Council of America and is certified by test to teach by Dance Masters of America. Sheri received her high school education at the Walnut Hill School and continued her dance education at the Gus Giordano Dance Center in Chicago and the Dance Theater of Harlem. She graduated from Quinsigamond Community College with an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy. Sheri’s professional credits include touring with Stephanie Mills throughout the U.S. Venues included the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. and a live national broadcast of Guy Lombardo’s New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. She was a swing for the Broadway production (Lunt-Fontaine Theater-NYC) and the International Touring Company of “The Wiz”, where she also served as second assistant stage manager. Sheri continues to study with leading dance educators and her classes are always motivational! |

The name Karin Tremblay is synonymous with outstanding modern technique and choreography. Since 1985, Karin has been sharing her gift with students throughout New England, many areas of the U.S. and Canada. Ms. Tremblay’s early training includes the Boston Ballet, Sherry Gold Dance Company, Boston Repertory Ballet, Danny Sloan and a two year full scholarship at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York. Her choreography has been performed and highlighted at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York. Karin’s work has also been recognized in every major dance competition in the U.S., having won many major choreographic awards. Ms Tremblay has been on faculty at Dean College and the New England Youth Ballet. She was a member of the Danny Sloan Dance Company in Boston where she performed all aspects of repertory. Karin has been a faculty member at the Diane Kelley Dance Studio for eight years. Students are motivated and inspired by her classes. |

Katie Walsh grew up dancing at the Diane Kelley Dance Studio. A very committed member of our competition team, Katie garnered many awards during her competitive years, always wowing the judges with her sparkling personality. Katie joined our teaching team six years ago, after teaching for several years at Tami’s Dance Connection, located in Leominster, where she taught and choreographed many award winning routines for all age levels. Katie works in the Worcester Juvenile Court, but really enjoys working with students in her classes here at the studio. At the studio, she is currently teaching Primary, Intermediate and Junior/Senior Classes and students love her easy-going style and sweet and caring nature! |

Born and raised in Vilnius, Lithuania Yolanta Valeikeite received her training from the Vilnius Ballet Academy. As a student, she received her break through at the age of 18 debuting in the title role of "Giselle", where upon she was promoted to soloist in the Lithuanian National Ballet Company. A principal dancer for 10 years with the company, her principal roles include those in "Swan Lake", "Giselle", "Cinderella", "Nutcracker", "Sleeping Beauty", "Raymonda" and "Romeo and Juliet". She also toured extensively in the United States, South America and Europe. In 1988, she received prizes in international ballet competitions in Moscow, Varna and Paris. Upon moving to Germany in 1992, Ms.Valeikaite became a principal dancer at Bonn Ballet (1992-1994) and Essen Ballet (1994-1997). She has also appeared as a guest artist with numerous other companies including V.Vasiliev-E.Maximova, the Bolshoi, and Ruth Page's "Nutcracker" of Chicago. In 2007 Yolanta as appointed Ballet mistress with Festival Ballet Providence while also teaching at Diane Kelley Dance Studio, Ballet Art Worcester and CKDC. |

As DKDS's strength conditioning trainer, Laura Nicholson brings over 20 years experience in the fitness industry in yoga and body conditioning. This is her first year at the studio and the competition team dancers love the added benefits of strength and flexibility to their dance regimen. Laura is a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor as well as National Trainer for Body Training Systems. She is the former Owner/Operator of Gold's Gym in the area. We are thrilled to have Laura as part of the DKDS team! |

We are very proud to introduce the newest member of the DKDS staff!
Caitlen Beahn graduated from St. Peter-Marian in 2007 and attended
Sacred Heart University for 2 years where she was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and Best Buddies. She is now attending Assumption College studying psychology. Caitlen has danced for over 16 years, the last 6 of them at DKDS on the competition team traveling to Germany, Florida, Tennessee, and other areas throughout New England. We are thrilled to be able to share Caitlen's expertise in dance with our students and we're excited to have her back at DKDS! |
